8 oz.plain flour
4 oz. margarine
2 oz. sugar
12 oz. bag of milk chocolate chips (or dark
chocolate if you prefer)
Filling
1 sm. can condensed milk
4 oz. margarine or butter
2 oz. sugar
2 T. corn syrup
1.)Preheat oven to 425 degrees
2.)Cream together margarine and sugar.
3.)Add flour and press into greased loaf pan.
4.)Bake at 425 degrees until golden brown.
Filling: Melt together
the condensed milk, margarine, sugar and corn syrup, stirring
constantly. Boil for 5 minutes.
Topping: In a heavy-duty
saucepan melt the chips over the lowest possible heat. When
the chips start to melt, remove them from the heat and continue
to stir. Return to the heat again for a few seconds at a time,
stirring until smooth. Don't over cook.
Spoon over mixture in loaf pan and place in
the refrigerator to set before cutting.
