to sneak some exercise into your day
- March in place while brushing your teeth or blow
drying your hair.
- Place weights next to your washer and dryer (or
your computer, while waiting for downloads or pages
to come up) do a few sets each time you put in or
take out a load of laundry.
- Wear ankle weights while doing your chores.
- Squeeze your glutes as tight as you can at every
red light until it turns green.
- Pop in a CD and dance with your kids or spouse.
- Get in the habit of taking the stairs.
- Park a little farther than normal and walk.
- Do knee lifts or swats while watching TV. Just even
standing burns more calories per minutes than lying
down.
